The two dogs are named Dexter and Doakes. Dexter was adopted by the dog owner and his fiancée when he was only six months old. Later, Doakes would just roam into their yard and played with Dexter. The dog owner was a little bit hesitant because you never know what to expect with stray dogs.

Doakes Goes Missing

Doakes was spotted by Dexter’s owner running around the neighborhood with no collar on. During that time, Animal Control was roaming around so Dexter’s fur dad decided to keep Doakes in his garage until Animal Control left. He also put a collar on Doakes and found out that he lives two houses from their home.

When Dexter’s owner went to return Doakes to the owners, he told them they should keep Doakes’ collar on so he doesn’t get taken by Animal Control. Days later, he saw Doakes with no collar on again and later went missing.

Dexter’s owner was then determined to find Doakes. He called some shelters until he succeeded.
The dog owner took Doakes home and now Dexter and Doakes are together, free to play and run around their yard. Thats a happy friendship.
