A momma pitbull found a raccoon and the dog owner said her pet wanted to protect the raccoon right away. The two have been together for a while and the momma pitbull even taught the raccoon how to survive in the wild. The momma dog also teaches the raccoon how to navigate the forest and what to watch out for.

Since the dog and the raccoon have been spending time with each other, the momma pitbull thinks she really is the mom and that she raised the other animal. She even teaches the raccoon how to use his sniffer.
What A Unique Friendship
The raccoon was actually found in the tire wheel of the dog owner’s friend. The raccoon was so underweight and they weren’t sure if the animal would make it. The dog owner brought the raccoon to their house to try and nurse it back to health.
The raccoon changed little by little until he was ready to explore more things to do. That was when the dog came in and their relationship has since blossomed from mom-son to best friends!
They always have a blast together and they run around together a lot! They also teach each other a lot. The raccoon also sometimes goes away for a couple of weeks then comes back home. It is such an amazing bond to see!
