A couple was on their way to celebrate their Valentine’s Day dinner. They never thought that they would spend it some other way. What happened was they saw a post about a dog that was stuck inside a hole and they decided to help. They cancelled their plans and were ready to go check the dog out instead.

The rescue was difficult because the dog was backing up every time they tried to grab her from the hole. She refuses to get out whenever they would try to dig to make the hole bigger so a person could fit and get the dog.
How The Rescue Went
They tried another idea by bringing their own dog, Chewy, so that the other dog can sort of have a familiar face in the crowd. The dog in the hole was definitely interested in Chewy, the couple’s dog.
The woman decided to grab the dog’s leg when she got the chance to. The dog in the hole started to bite her but she kept going and rescued the dog out of the hole.
The dog was pulled out and it was an amazing effort by the rescuers. They brought the dog home, bathed her, and was named Valentine. She was then brought to a foster home and is still waiting for the perfect fur-ever family!
