The woman shared in the video that she started to rescue dogs when she realized that there was an overpopulation of dogs in Saint Maarten in the Caribbean. She sees groups of malnourished dogs and from there, she did what she could to help them.
How This Woman Saves These Dogs
She contacted a lot of vets but they could not help her so she decided to do things on her own. Her full-time job is actually rescuing the dogs in her area that’s why she feels very lucky that she can do this all day.
First thing in the morning, she just heads out and goes to wherever dogs need rescuing. She gets a call from people about the dogs that need help so she travels from one area to another to get to them.
After she rescues the pups that need rescuing, she goes to different areas also to feed stray dogs. She gives them all sorts of different dog foods and even milk for puppies. Once she is done feeding the strays, she tries to help out at the shelter.
The shelter where she works is the only shelter in the island. She tries to socialize with the pups there as much as she could and just assists in whatever way she can.
She hopes that people will adopt dogs because many really need to find their fur-ever homes.
