A foster pitbull was taken in by the foster family as the animal found out he has been at the shelter for over 150 days. He is so stressed in the kennel so the fosterers wanted to take him out of there as soon as possible. They knew he needed to be given a chance thus the decision to take him home. And boy oh boy, their lives were changed by this big dog!
Tish writes in the comments:
Oh sweet baby boy…the look on his face when he got on bed, was a look knowing he’s loved and accepted.
Brought a tear 😢 to my eye.

The first days weren’t easy with the dog named King Tut. He didn’t want to have a bath and it was definitely a struggle. He also chewed on all things a lot as it was thought to be because of the stress brought to him when he was at the kennel.
Did King Tut Become More Comfortable?
The dog eventually learned that dog beds should not be chewed on and he just uses them now for what they should be used for – napping. He also pleads for human food, but he learned that he can only eat dog food.
As for his morning routine, he adopted his fosterer’s routine. He also wants his hair “combed,” and his teeth brushed. Whenever his fosterer is preparing for the day, he would also be right by his side getting ready.
As of now, the fosterer said King Tut can stay in his home as long as he needs to. However, he will find a fur-ever home for King Tut so he can help more dogs that need time, love, and care before being ready for adoption!
