40 dogs were saved after a storm ripped through Trimdon and tore the roof off of a kennel that was housing 40 dogs. Once the roof was ripped off, rainwater destroyed some of the equipment inside such as dog bowls and their blankets.
All of the dogs were rescued and weren’t hurt. They were put into a temporary accommodation while the workers of the kennel are fixing the building and trying to get a new roof fitted. Sadly, this storm did claim the lives of three people.
