A stray dog would always go barking towards cars. It is not for the reason that you think because the dog took it upon himself to help kids cross the road safely. The dog is there every day. Whenever someone honks while the kids cross, the dog would bark at the vehicle owner.

The dog is from Batumi in Georgia and the community loves him.
The Dog’s Story
The dog is named Kupata. Whenever someone drives through the street while there are kids, he would run and chase the car and would not stop barking. It is as if the dog is getting mad at the driver who did not stop to make way for the kids to cross.
Sometimes, the dog even waits for the children to finish playing at the park for an hour so he can help them cross the street again.
The woman who videoed Kupata and shared his story said that she and her neighbors take care of the animal. There is a main person looking after Kupata and her name is Nona. Nona lets Kupata sleep in her house and looks after the dog most of the time.
Accordingly, they already noticed Kupata’s behavior towards the kids two years ago, but decided to share about it only recently. They said that they wanted to share Kupata’s story because they want people to realize how kind and friendly stray dogs are and that not all are as lucky as Kupata. Stray dogs are increasing in number in Georgia.
