A senior dog was finally free. This was after the dog was rescued after being chained for years. This was in Greece and the dog was found in the middle of nowhere. Even if the dog was chained in the area for years, she knew she was being rescued that is why she was so willing to be touched by the rescuers and was just so happy to see them.

The dog was so friendly and always cuddled with her rescuers. The dog was named Mumia, and a family visiting the shelter where she was fell in love with her because she reminded them of their own senior dog who just passed.
Mumia Gets Adopted
The people who saw her said that she looked a lot like their senior dog and they couldn’t get her out of their heads. However, they had to fly home to Finland but the second that they landed, they contacted the shelter and adopted her.
Mumia arrived in Finland and felt at home right away. She was never on a leash before but she never misbehaved.
Mumia trusted her new family and just loved the attention and time given to her. It took her a couple of months to behave like a normal dog but the family is happy to watch that unfold.
The kids at Mumia’s fur-ever home love her very much and they do everything together with her. She also opened their eyes to give senior dogs a second chance. They went back to where they adopted Mumia and got another senior dog named Max.
