Dogs can do amazing things for humans and one of these things is to make them feel better when humans are in a bad situation. That’s exactly what three therapy dogs did for some evacuees who were badly hit by Hurricane Harvey.
Some of the evacuees lost their homes, loved ones, and even their pets and the therapy dogs definitely helped them briefly forget about their problems. The therapy dogs are trained by the Lutheran Church Charity. The dogs named Abner, Phoebe, and Pax offered comfort to both children and adults.

Training For Therapy Dogs
Therapy dogs can start their training as young as just a few weeks old. They undergo a rigorous training to understand when a person is feeling down. After knowing that the person really feels said, the therapy dogs will do everything they could to comfort a person.
