What is Object Guarding?

Object Guarding is an unwanted and harmful behavior which can be found in many dogs. When the dog plays with toys in a place that he has been allowed by the owner, then the dog will start playing with them, but it doesn’t mean that he will stop playing when the owner comes back.

The owner will think that the dog is playing with the toy only to avoid any trouble and will leave the place.

But the truth is that the dog wants to play with his favorite toy, so he will continue to play with it until he gets tired.
