The mix has an interesting history?
The German Shepherd-Malinois mix has an interesting history. It is a cross between the two breeds, and their ancestors were quite different from one another.
Originally, the shepherd was a working dog, but its name reflected its dual role as a hunting dog. This mix was originally developed in Belgium. The dogs’ personalities were derived from both breeds and combined. The results were a unique hybrid that was a popular choice for many dog owners.
Temperament & Intelligence of the German Malinois
These dogs are part of an active breed. They’re very alert and eager to play fetch or any other kind of game that interests them. Puppies are quite different than other types of dogs.
They are usually quite lively and energetic and while it might seem to the casual observer that they are always in a good mood, they are actually much more serious and controlled. People who want to be content with their living situation should ensure that they have plenty of space to run around in.
Some of the smartest dogs in the world are Golden Retrievers. They are hyper-intelligent and have a lot of energy. They love the outdoors and are happy running around, swimming, hiking and even riding motorcycles.
There are a few breeds that rank right after the Poodle and the Border Collie for intelligence; these include both the German Shepherd and the Belgian Malinois.
Paws are powerful tools, and they have a strong desire to please their master or trainer. This is a big reason that dogs are so commonly trained for service work, including in law enforcement, as they tend to be a lot more willing to obey than most other dog breeds.
Some people are more inclined to be stubborn or over excited when they train, but that’s a personality trait rather than an indication of weakness. It is relatively rare to see this in an elite runner, however it is possible if a change in running technique is required.
This dog will need some training to become more friendly with people and other dogs. It may be best to avoid taking him to new places and meet lots of new people until he warms up to them.
Our protective instincts can sometimes be too strong to admit anything that may not be 100% beneficial to us into our trust. This feature makes these dogs excellent guard dogs and watchdogs. Don’t let your dog’s aggression towards other dogs cause problems. If it’s happening, you need to be proactive and make sure it doesn’t get out of hand.
