Dog playtime when a Golden Retriever dad was videoed being strict with his daughter. The dad growled a lot to signal that playtime is already over.

Miles writes in the comments:

This is just a responsible dog parent teaching a pup boundaries and discipline. Totally normal. Similar to how children need to be taught boundaries.

In the video, you could see that his daughter continue to climb on top of him and later over him. The dad looked really annoyed and mad and looked a lot like how a human dad would react whenever his children would misbehave.

Daughter Is Daddy’s Girl

The dad continued to growl and the daughter didn’t seem to mind. The daughter playfully kicked her dad and even gave him some kisses. She wasn’t scared of her father at all! Looks like she’s a daddy’s girl and she knows her dad would not harm her just because she wanted to play some more.

It seems that dogs are also responsible dads. Share this on your social media if you agree!

7 Dog Playtime Tips That Will Make Your Dog Happy

Playtime is a great way to make your dog happy, but not all dogs will enjoy the same things and you may have to find out what your dog likes the most.

When it comes to playing with a dog, you can have many choices like chasing a ball, fetching sticks, or you can even go for a walk together. But there are some other activities which are more effective than others.

If you want your dog to be happier and if you want to spend more time with your dog, then here are the 7 tips that you can use to make your dog happier:

Walk on a leash

A good walking experience will make your dog more active and energetic. If you are a busy person, then you can ask your dog to follow you, but for those who want a more active dog then they must walk them on a leash. You can walk at a moderate pace, but keep in mind that you should walk your dog at least 3 times a day.

Do not feed your dog too much

Many people think that by feeding their dogs more food, they will be more active and happy. But in reality it is not true because dogs tend to eat more when they are hungry, and they may even eat more than what is normal for them. So, if you have more money and time, then you can feed your dog at least 2 meals a day.

Provide a place for your dog to stay

Providing a safe and comfortable place for your dog will make him happier and he will love the environment. You can provide a kennel or a room where your dog can stay alone. If you have space, then you can provide your dog with a separate area which can be a large bed, a crate, or even a corner of the room.

Give your dog toys

If you want your dog to be more active, then you must give him different kinds of toys to play with. It is good to provide your dog with chew toys, rope toys, and balls. If you want your dog to be more energetic, then you can even provide him with a toy that can make him run around.

Provide a comfortable place for your dog

A comfortable place will make your dog more relaxed and happy. You can buy a hammock for your dog or you can even use an old blanket for the same purpose. You can also provide your dog with a dog bed or a pillow where he can sleep.

Train your dog

When it comes to training your dog, you need to know what makes them happy and what makes them sad. Train your dog when they are young, but you must never force them to do something that they don’t like. Instead, you can ask them what they want to do, and then train them accordingly.

Conclusion:
All these tips will help you to make your dog happier and if you have any other tips then you can share them with us in the comments section below. I hope this post will help you to understand why you need to play with your dog, and also you can find some effective tips for playing with your dog.
