A dog named Zeus was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer and his days were numbered. On the day that he was to be put down, his owner asked if he could have more time with Zeus the Rottweiler as she was visibly in pain that she had to let her doggie go.
Bryanna writes in the comments:
Had to put down my Doberman today of 10 years… one of the hardest things I had to do I never thought her death was going to impact me so much. This video gives me comfort, in a sense that it happens to the best dogs.. we did everything we could. No matter how much we wanted to keep my baby alive we were only pro-longing the inevitable. I love you Bubbles 🐕🪦❤️

Zeus Struggled At The Vet
Zeus might have known what was about to happen and he struggled with the people around him. His human mom, however, never left his side and assured him everything was going to be okay. Right after the dog was euthanized and he started to fade away, Zeus just leaned over his mom’s arms until he passed away. His mom was so emotional and the video is really heartbreaking.
After Zeus passed, the dog owner continued to train other people’s dogs as they struggled with them. Her business has the photo of Zeus as their logo and it’s amazing to know that his death inspired his dog owner to help other people.
Questions to Help You Decide When to Put My Dog to Sleep
Deciding when to put my dog to sleep can be difficult. It is the end of a dog’s life and it can be emotionally draining. While you may feel bad, putting a dog to sleep is not the same as killing it. It is not an easy decision, and putting a dog to sleep is not an act of violence or a painful end. You are merely saving a pet’s life. In many ways, putting a pet to rest is a hero’s duty.
When it is time to put my dog to sleep, I often ask myself the following questions. Is quality of life more important than quantity? Do I want to put my dog down so I can spend the rest of my life with my family?
You may be wondering how to decide when to put your dog to sleep. If you’re not sure, consult a veterinarian. A vet can tell you what is best for your dog’s health.
They can also tell you if your pet is suffering and if he needs to be put to sleep. This can help you make an informed decision. If you are still unsure, ask a friend or family member to take care of the dog until the final stages of its life have been resolved.
