A dog was so thin that it fell through a sewer. The dog was stuck there and was later rescued. When the dog was rescued, you could see that he was emaciated and needed help immediately. The dog was even injured from being in the sewer.

Aside from being emaciated and having injuries, the dog’s tail also suffered from gangrene. The dog’s tail had to be amputated and the dog was so relieved after that.

The dog, named Phelps, was placed in a foster home. Phelps took a long time to get used to his foster home and was on a strict eating schedule to make sure that he heals properly.
With the help of his foster parents, Phelps knew how to be loved and taken care of again. Further, the foster parents believe that Phelps never had toys before that is why he is so happy he got some at his foster home.
This was actually a foster fail because the foster parents knew that they could not let another family have him. This is especially because the dog developed a great relationship with the other dog in the house, a husky named Kato. Kato actually helped Phelps to show more of his personality.
