Jordan Rosenfeld is an engineering graduate student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He discovered what he wanted to do when he adopted Cleo, a beagle terrier mix who lost a front leg when hit by a car.
Rosenfeld is building Cleo a prosthetic leg using a mixture of math, robotics and biomechanics. He works on the project outside of regular class hours. Rosenfeld says Cleo was an adorable puppy when he first saw her at the kennel. He spent every day with the dog during quarantine.
